The Karate Cat and Judo Dog are causing chaos inside the house, in a WB cartoon-style graphics game, released exclusively for the Atari ST. The game is an original TOS game made with the STOS development kit (STOS Basic was designed for creating games without any special skills or knowledge of the Atari ST hardware).

Review
Cartoon CapersSTORY / GAMEPLAY
Cartoon Capers is the perfect combination of bone crushing combat and side-splitting humor. Control cartoons to throw custard pies, blow up your opponent with a well aimed bomb, lure him under tons of weight, beat him brutally with a lethal punch and body kick and much more in this one or two-player extravaganza! Although its nice presentation, the game is also known for its difficulty level. The sprites move a bit slow, which makes fighting rather difficult to control. The game is an original TOS game, developed with the STOS development kit (STOS Basic was designed for creating games without any knowledge of the internals of the Atari ST) exclusively for the Atari ST machines!

GRAPHICS / SOUND
This exclusive ST game sports some high quality cartoon style graphics with great sprite animation and up to 16 colors on-screen. The sprites are really funny and they seem as if taken directly from a Warner Bros cartoon movie. OK, there is no hardware intensive graphics here (no background scrolling etc). All background graphics are static, but they look great. The sound is equally great, with cartoon-ish sampled music and several sampled sound effects from actual karate / fighting movies! The game is simple enough but so addictive at the same time, so every Atari ST user should add it in the library.
